OMS GROUP SECURES SECOND PLANT FOR PUREN
Following the successful installation of the first plant at PUREN, Überlingen Germany in 2008, the high product quality delivered from it, and the excellent co-operation with the Customer, OMS Group was chosen to supply a new Slabstock line for the continuous production of rigid block for the construction industry at SHANGHAI HUAFON PUREN POLYURETHANE CO. new Chinese facility.
Thanks to OMS Groups 40 year experience in the supplier of key plants for the production of rigid and flexible foam blocks, the new “TOP-LINE” plant will be delivered and installed by the summer 2009.
The new plant, located in Shanghai, China, is for the continuous production of polyisocyanurate rigid block foam with a line speed capability of 10 m/min. The plant consists of an heated pouring plane with a support system to carry the mixing head, a multi components low pressure machine (n° 19 independent metering streams, each one with mass-flow meter and closed-loop control system of the working output), equipped with a ULTIMIX 300 mixing head and air nucleation unit, 27m long metal slats conveyor with associated heating system to work at +60°C and a centralised control panel for handling of the entire production plant.
Set up, storage and control of the formulation required in production is carried out via a menu driven colour screen HMI.
All working parameters relating to the particular production run are monitored and stored on our “PDS” (Production Data Storage system) which can link directly to the companies Quality Control PC and all quality and critical parameters and trends are instantly communicated.
The choice of OMS Group as the supplier for Puren’s second plant confirms OMS Group’s leading position in continuous slabstock plant technology.
