Plants for the production of automotive air filters are based around our Impact 2 or 4 low pressure metering units which have been designed for the precise application of the PU bead in conjunction with a 2 axis programmable robot.

The Impact machines in this range have been specifically designed to produce small shot weight articles in rigid, flexible and micr-cellular PU and can be specified with a variety of options such as colour dosing units to extend their versatility.

Our F2A two axis programmable robot has also been specially developed to meet the need to lay down the polyurethane mixture in a precisely controlled way, and in accordance with the shape and size of the mould.

Designed for accuracy and robust operation as part of an integrated line the F2A robot and Impact metering unit are fully integrated with each other and the line via a Siemens S7 PLC and the F2A’s dedicated software program enables all types of filter shape to be run quickly and easily.
