In response to customer requests to have visualisation, control and storage of production data OMS Group has developed P.D.S. ( Production Data Storage ).

 

 

This is an advanced data collection system which combines different tools to collect, store and display the data required to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of production.

 

 

P.D.S. has a completely web based structure enabling it to collect, in real time, data input from different fonts within the plant such as OPC, Custom, File and ODBC Collectors.

 

 

It uses relational database technology to store data to assure strength and avoid data repetitiveness and displays stored data charts and reports accessed from any pc even during the collection phase:

OMS Group P.D.S. System is distinguishedby:

-          Giving the user the ability to manage over 100,000 variables and tags for each P.D.S. server with a collection speed of 10,000 variables or tags per second

-          Providing a collector to communicate with different devices

-          All its activities can be used on several hardware devices

-          It memorises events, permits historical programmable scheduling, logs alarms and events, manages data fault tolerances and stores historical logs

-          It displays data as either charts or reports and adds a full system for data analysis

-          It can manage e-mails and short message service (sms)

-          It is a multiplatform system able to work on sytems such as Linux, all versions of Windows and related databases.
