KEEPING COOL AROUND THE WORLD

OMS Group’s involvement with world-wide home appliance market has been long standing and wide spread.

Although the halcyon days of great global expansion in the domestic and commercial refrigeration sectors are now over, many of our customers bring forward plans to increase production, modify and up-date their designs, increase flexibility and convert away from hydrocarbons.

OMS Group has always been there to give a consistent presence to help our customers reach targets and we can mention below just a few of our most recent projects:

NORCOLD (USA) :      has added capacity and flexibility with the introduction of a new fully automatic fixture for 17 cu.ft side-by-side model with the possibility to produce all the other models types within their current range. The fixture is already prepared for use of Pentane as blowing agent.

GORENJE (Slovakia) : commenced production of freezer and refrigerator doors using two 7 stations rotary drum fixtures and a Penta HP 40 high pressure metering unit.

METALFRIO (Brazil) : have converted to Pentane as blowing agent by the addition of a Pentablend polyol/pentane premixing unit and the retrofitting of their existing high pressure metering units for the safe use of Pentane.

XINFEI (P.R.C.) :          in order to compete in the largest market in Asia, Xinfei has invested in 4no. OMS Penta HP 100 high pressure metering units for cabinets, and 4no. Penta HP 40 machines for doors production. A polyol/pentane pre-mixing unit (Pentablend), and pentane storage tank complete the picture.

The production equipment and methods used by our customers vary greatly throughout the world. Because our equipment is designed to give high performance and has the flexibility to be adapted to specific circustamces, OMS Group will always be totally committed to the continuing supply of technologies that will perform optimally in our customer’s factories, maximizing performances and minimizing investments.
