Recently, OMS Group undertook the modification and refurbishment of a complete OMS door foaming plant for Gorenje, a major producer of domestic refrigerators in the European Market. The plant is based in Valjevo, Serbia, and comprises N°2 Seven Stations Rotary Drum type door foaming plant with a Pentafoam 40 Data foaming equipment equipped with two mixing heads and two Pentafoam 100 with sixteen mixing heads for the cabinets lines.

We spoke to Mr. Košec, member of Board for refrigeration product manufacture to assess the customer’s opinion of the project:

 

OMS Group : Mr. Košec, it has been almost 12 months since the new line was commissioned, so by now you will have had the chance to monitor its performance. What is your opinion?

 

Gorenje : The operation of the equipment is satisfactory which reflects in good quality of the products.

OMS Group : the plant was bought with a view to modifying it to your requirements, what is your opinion about the job done by OMS?

 

Gorenje: The company OMS carried out all necessary interventions on the equipment, both, on machines as well as on updating of software.

 

OMS Group: was the work done on time and to budget?

 

Gorenje: All upgradings of the equipment were realized within the contract deadlines and within the contract price. 

OMS Group: what about the quality of the job?

 

Gorenje: The job was performed competently and quickly. We were very satisfied with transfer of knowledge to the equipment operators as well as with the participation at starting-up of the production at new production location.

 

OMS Group: as a major player in the European refrigerator market, would you consider OMS Group as your partner in the future?

 

Gorenje: While developing new projects, Gorenje always cooperates with many bidders. In case of needs for new equipment we will by all means invite to cooperation the company OMS in the future, too.
